Birth at Dawn

Oh, hear the New Earth calling in the quiet of each of our own souls,
calling us each to waken and join for its repair.
Is not your heart willing to give answer?
Â
See the scattered mirror shards of Earth’s One-reflection,
and hear our New Earth calling to Its far-flung parts to return as but one whole and lovely heart.
As a species and a race,
We’ve come to the end of where our separate lives
can take us each on our own.
We either share the little we’ve left ourselves,
Or we perish alone and bereft,
like fish dying of thirst in their vast and abundant ocean.
All those awake on Earth at this time
see the plain truth that only our One-ness
will save any one of us now,
and our beautiful Earth along with us.
Oh, hear our New Earth calling us to waken and save it;
And in the only way a world can be saved;
by a will to be one,
and taking our part in the Plan already begun.
In these precarious new world-birthing times;
where with each progressive contraction forward
We moan and cry,
let us but reach out for each other’s hand,
and hold it tight.
For fragile New-Earth can only be delivered
into hands joined in this most holy endeavor.
Â
In these Earth-birthing times,
Love has deputized us all as ministering midwives
To the New Earth emerging, and made us all equal in its need for each and every one.
Â
Just like we would for any and every birth,
let us gather in these fragile and precious days,
to share in the effort of birthing our new world—
a world whose beauty and grace would sustain us all
In the very moment we beheld Its radiant face.
The morning star of this new day looks on a newborn Earth;
An earth born again from our shared love for It,
And for all who rest upon It.
Make no mistake about it, Children of Earth,
no holier purpose could there ever be,
than to share in the birthing of a world that sustains us all,
and no more sacred of consecrations could ever there be.
Birth waters are breaking now,
as New Earth bursts forth,
And it brings a flooding of waters in which all life is borne.
Â
As with every birth,
We breathe deep and pray:
Let the New-Earth come,
may Love’s will be done through us this day,
and upon all the world as one.Â
